Install

macOS

  1. Download the universal .dmg — it contains both Apple Silicon and Intel binaries, so the same file works on every Mac from 2015 onward.
  2. Double-click the .dmg, then drag Joule Atelier to Applications.
  3. First launch: macOS may show "can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software". Right-click Joule Atelier → Open → Open. The app is unsigned during the public beta; full notarization lands in the next release.

Windows

  1. Download the .zip for Windows 64-bit.
  2. Right-click → Properties → Unblock (the file is downloaded from the internet).
  3. Extract anywhere and run JouleAtelier.exe.
  4. SmartScreen may show "unrecognized app". Click More info → Run anyway. The app is unsigned during the public beta; full code-signing lands in the next release.
