Terms of service

1. The agreement

By creating a Joule Atelier account or using the desktop app, CLI, or cloud API, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and any org you represent. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.

2. The service

Joule Atelier provides local MCP servers, hooks for popular agent runtimes, and a multi-tenant cloud for sync, audit, and team coordination. We may change features with reasonable notice. Removed features that you depend on will be supported for at least 90 days after the deprecation announcement.

3. Acceptable use

• No reverse engineering of paid features to circumvent billing.
• No exporting other users’ data via cross-tenant access attempts.
• No using the service to generate or distribute malware or CSAM.
• No reselling cloud quota without a written reseller agreement.

4. Payment

Paid plans are billed via Lemon Squeezy. Annual plans are non-refundable after 30 days; monthly plans cancel at the end of the current period. We charge VAT/GST where required.

5. Termination

You may cancel any time from the customer portal. We may suspend accounts that violate the acceptable-use policy after one warning, except in egregious cases (active abuse, fraud) where we suspend immediately and explain after the fact.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We carry errors-and-omissions insurance for enterprise customers on request.

7. Governing law

Delaware, USA. Disputes resolve in the state and federal courts of New Castle County. The prevailing party is entitled to reasonable attorneys’ fees.
